Dear VCC Family,
As you may know, our community is responding to the COVID 19 outbreak and attempting to get it’s spread under control. In an effort to assist in controlling the spread of this virus, our leadership has made the hard decision to transition as much of our ministries to an online format as possible.
What makes this hard is that we know we are called to gather together in person as the Church, the Family of God. Hebrews 10:25 exhorts us to ‘not give up meeting together’; and there is no substitute for the gathering of God’s people. This is part of the reason we have not done live streaming up to this point. However, we are in unprecedented times; and expect these are simply temporary measures in order to be cautious with the health and well being of our church family and community.
We invite you to join us for online worship gatherings for the next two Sundays, March 15th & 22nd at 10am. We will update you ASAP on the vehicle for you to join in those gatherings. Ministry leaders will give specific direction on their particular ministries. Please check our website, Facebook page and app for updates. We anticipate worshiping together again in person on March 29th.
Our staff and leadership will continue to be available to people and respond to their needs. As a church we may find opportunities to respond to those with physical/material needs; and we will continue to utilize our resources to that end. As you are able, please continue to worship through your tithes and offerings, even if they are simply set aside for the next 2 weeks. I encourage us to stay in touch, check in with each other, look out for those at potentially higher risk. Let us continue to be the family of God that He has called and equipped us to be! This is not a time of fear, but of faith and strength from the Lord.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with your concerns, needs, etc.
God Bless,
Pastor Steve
